Melipilla

Deportes Melipilla is a Chilean football club, based on Melipilla, a comune in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It was founded on January 24, 1992, as a successor of Club Deportivo Soinca Bata. The club has its classic rival, San Antonio Unido match known as "Clásico del Maipo" or "The Maipo Derbi".

Deportes Melipilla has its own stadium called Estadio Municipal Roberto Bravo Santibáñez situated in its city with a capacity of 6,000.

Deportes Melipilla were expelled from the ANFP on 27 December 2021 due to irregularities with the contracts of footballers.

Fotbalový klub Melipilla je chilský fotbalový klub sídlící ve městě Melipilla. Klub byl založen v roce 1992 a v současnosti hraje ve druhé nejvyšší chilské fotbalové lize, Primera B de Chile. Domácím stadionem klubu je Estadio Municipal Roberto Bravo Santibáñez.

Melipilla se nikdy nedostala do první chilské ligy, Primera División de Chile, ale vyhrála několik titulů v nižších ligách. V roce 2017 vyhrála Tercera A de Chile, třetí nejvyšší chilskou fotbalovou ligu, a v roce 2020 vyhrála Segunda División de Chile, druhou nejvyšší chilskou fotbalovou ligu.

Dresy Melipilly jsou modré s bílými pruhy a jejich znakem je zelený kruh s bílým lemem, uvnitř kterého je název klubu a fotbalový míč.
