Dublin Bus (Irish: Bus Átha Cliath) is an Irish state-owned bus operator providing services in Dublin. By far the largest bus operator in the city, it carried 145 million passengers in 2023. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Córas Iompair Éireann.
History
Dublin Bus was established on 2 February 1987, when Córas Iompair Éireann was split into 3 subsidiaries, Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann and Irish Rail. In September 2011, Dublin Bus received a significant technological upgrade with its introduction of real time passenger information.
Dublin Bus je irský fotbalový tým, který sídlí v Dublinu. V současnosti hraje v League of Ireland Premier Division, a to již od roku 1985. Své domácí zápasy hraje na stadionu Dalymount Park, který má kapacitu 3 400 diváků.
Tým byl založen v roce 1982 jako soukromý podnik zaměstnanců dublinské autobusové společnosti. V roce 1985 byl zvolen do League of Ireland Premier Division. V roce 1994 se tým dostal do finále FAI Cupu, kde prohrál s Shelbourne 2:1. V roce 2002 vyhrál svůj první velký titul, FAI Cup. V roce 2014 vyhrál League of Ireland Cup.
